Learning to Cope with the Tradegy

1.  Keep a Journal - write down your thoughts or feelings
2.  Put up a flag or make one out of paper
3.  Wear red, white & blue
4.  Turn off the radio or tv for awhile and take a walk, go on a picnic with your family, visit a friend.
5.  Help organize a fundraiser
6.  If you are old enough donate blood

Most importantly talk about your feelings! If you are having nightmares, have a constant stomache or headache, tell your parents and teachers.  They will listen and help you through this difficult time and can get you in touch with your school guidance counselor  or a counselor that can assist you.

On Tuesday morning,
September 11, 2001.  Two hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York.  A short time later a third hijack plane slammed into the Pentagon in Washington DC!  A fourth plane crashed in Pittsburgh. All are sadden about these tragic events - it's a horrific crime against innocent people!

Tuesday, September 25, 2001  Movie Theaters around the USA will be donating 100% of their sales to the United Way and the Red Cross.  Check your local Movie Theater to see if it will be participating in this nationwide fundraiser!.
